How to Apply

Surface Preparation

  1. Ensure the substrate and block surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any contaminants such as dust or grease.
  2. Align blocks in position prior to mortar application to minimize adjustment time.

Mixing

  1. Add the recommended amount of potable water to the LWBM mortar.
  2. Mix thoroughly until a smooth, uniform consistency is achieved.
  3. Use within 45 minutes of mixing to ensure optimal performance.

Application

  1. Apply the mixed mortar to the required thickness using a trowel.
  2. Level the mortar to ensure an even distribution on the surface of the blocks.
  3. Press the blocks into position immediately after application, ensuring a tight bond with the mortar.
  4. Allow the mortar to cure for a minimum of 48 hours for maximum strength.
