How to Apply

Surface Preparation

  1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any contaminants that could affect the bonding process.
  2. Position all fittings (plaster stops, corner beads, etc.) in place before applying the mortar.

Mixing

  1. Add the appropriate amount of potable water to the FPC mortar.
  2. Mix thoroughly until a stiff, uniform consistency is achieved.
  3. Use within 10 minutes of mixing to avoid the mortar setting prematurely.

Fixing Mortar

  1. Apply the FPC mortar directly to the fittings and substrates using a trowel.
  2. Secure the fittings in place, ensuring they are aligned correctly before the mortar begins to set.
  3. Leave the mortar undisturbed to cure for at least 48 hours for full strength.
