Surface Preparation

1. Ensure that the surface to be treated is clean, dry, and free of any dust, grease, or other contaminants.
2. For larger surfaces, remove any old peeling paint or wallpaper before application.

Mixing

1. Mix Conpacmix Wall Care Putty with potable water until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved.
2. Use a mechanical mixer for best results, ensuring the putty is evenly mixed.

Application

1. Apply the mixed putty onto the prepared surface using a painter’s spatula.
2. Spread the putty evenly and build up thin layers to fill any voids or surface irregularities.
3. Do not use a mason’s trowel, as this may cause uneven layers.
4. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next coat. Typically, drying takes at least 1 hour per layer, depending on humidity and temperature.

Sanding and Finishing

1. After the final coat has dried for at least 1 hour, use fine-grit sandpaper to smooth the surface.
2. Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding to the painting or wallpaper application.

Painting/Wallpapering

1. Once Conpacmix Wall Care Putty has dried completely (min. 48 hours), it is ready for the application of paint or wallpaper.
