  • Coverage: Approximately 45-50 sq. ft. per 20 kg bag (3mm bed thickness, ¼” x ¼” square notch trowel).

How to Apply

Substrate Requirements

  • The surface must be sound, clean, and free from dirt, grease, oil, or loose plaster. Ensure proper curing of plaster or leveling mortar for at least 7 days.
  • Surface Preparation
  • Clean the Substrate: Remove all impurities, including dust, debris, or curing agents.
  • Dampen the Wall: Wet the surface before adhesive application.
  • Tile Preparation: Clean the back of the tile for dust or coatings.

Mixing Instructions

  • Use clean water and a slow-speed electric drill mixer (≤ 300 rpm).
  • Add TILE FIXBOND to water and mix until creamy.
  • Mixing Ratio: 1 bag (20 kg) with 5-6 liters of water*.

Installation Guidelines

  • Prepare the Surface: Wet the surface and remove excess water.
  • Apply the Adhesive:
  • Use the flat side of a trowel to spread adhesive for even coverage.
  • Apply additional adhesive with a notched trowel.
  • For Large Tiles:
  • Back butter tiles with adhesive for proper thickness.
  • Ensure 100% coverage for durability.

Cleaning

Remove excess adhesive from the tile surface with a damp sponge or cloth while the mortar is fresh.
