  • Allows trapped vapor to escape, preventing peeling and blistering.
  • Applicable in uniform thickness to horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Develops an excellent bond with most building materials.
  • Reduces or prevents salt penetration into concrete.
  • Resistant to ultraviolet light and chemicals, including mild acids and strong alkalies.
  • Highly durable under continuous wet conditions.
  • Non-flammable and does not emit toxic gases under fire exposure.
  • Resistant to rotting and corrosion.
  • Properties improve with age.
  • Safe for workers’ health.

How to Apply

Surface Preparation

  1. Clean the surface to remove dust, loose materials, and contaminants.
  2. Prepare the surface using scarifying, grinding, water blasting, sandblasting, or acid washing.
  3. Ensure smoothness for flat surfaces to avoid sharp projections.
  4. Pre-wet the surface; it should remain damp but free of standing water.
  5. Fill and level depressions using a filler mix:
    • 1 Kg cement: 1.5 Kg silica sand: 0.5 Kg CP-PROOFCRETE.

Mixing and Application

  1. Mix CP-PROOFCRETE with fresh cement in a 1:2 ratio by weight.
  2. Stir thoroughly until achieving a smooth, homogeneous slurry.
  3. Let the mix rest for 5–10 minutes to release air bubbles.
  4. Apply the mix with a brush in multiple coats (minimum two coats recommended).
  5. Allow the first coat to dry for 5–6 hours before applying subsequent coats.

Curing

  • Initial air drying: 2–6 hours.
  • Perform moist curing for the next 24 hours.
  • Afterward, allow the coating to air dry for 2 days before water immersion.

Precautions

  • Apply only when the temperature is between 10°C and 40°C.
  • CP-PROOFCRETE must be used with cement.
  • Avoid direct contact with eyes and seek medical help if ingested.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

  • Store in a dry, cool location (5°C to 30°C).
  • Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.

Disposal

  • Dispose of used containers following local regulations.
