Storage and Shelf Life:

How to Apply

  1. Surface Preparation:
    • Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. For steel surfaces, ensure proper surface treatment to enhance adhesion.
  2. Mixing:
    • Mix the CPTiLex LM (TB) mortar with clean water in the appropriate ratio (refer to manufacturer’s guidelines) until a smooth, uniform paste is achieved. Allow the mixture to rest for a few minutes before use.
  3. Application:
    • Apply the thick bed mortar to the surface using a trowel, ensuring an even layer of the required thickness (12.5 mm). Press the tiles or stones into the mortar bed, ensuring full contact with the surface.
  4. Tiling:
    • Place the tiles or stones on the prepared mortar bed and press them firmly into place. Adjust as needed to align tiles evenly.
  5. Curing:
    • Allow the mortar to cure for the recommended period (usually 24-48 hours) before grouting or exposing the surface to moisture.
