How to Apply

Surface Preparation:
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. For steel surfaces, ensure proper surface treatment to enhance adhesion.
Mixing:
- Mix the CPTiLex LM (TB) mortar with clean water in the appropriate ratio (refer to manufacturer’s guidelines) until a smooth, uniform paste is achieved. Allow the mixture to rest for a few minutes before use.
Application:
- Apply the thick bed mortar to the surface using a trowel, ensuring an even layer of the required thickness (12.5 mm). Press the tiles or stones into the mortar bed, ensuring full contact with the surface.
Tiling:
- Place the tiles or stones on the prepared mortar bed and press them firmly into place. Adjust as needed to align tiles evenly.
Curing:
- Allow the mortar to cure for the recommended period (usually 24-48 hours) before grouting or exposing the surface to moisture.
