How to Apply

  1. Surface Preparation:
    • Ensure all surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, or other contaminants. Clean surfaces with appropriate solvents or detergents and allow them to dry completely before application.
  2. Masking:
    • Mask the areas around the joint to ensure a neat and controlled application of the sealant.
  3. Application:
    • Apply CPSealXtra SS using a standard caulking gun or automated dispensing system, depending on the project requirements. Ensure that the sealant is applied continuously and uniformly along the joint, making full contact with the surfaces.
  4. Tooling:
    • Tool the sealant with a spatula or similar tool to smooth the surface and ensure proper adhesion to the joint surfaces.
  5. Curing:
    • Allow the sealant to cure for the recommended time (typically 24-48 hours, depending on environmental conditions). Ensure the sealant is fully cured before subjecting it to stress or traffic.
