How to Apply

  1. Surface Preparation:
    • Clean and prepare the surface by removing dirt, grease, oil, and any other contaminants. Ensure that the surface is dry and free of any loose material.
    • For concrete surfaces, it is recommended to repair any cracks or imperfections before application.
  2. Mixing:
    • Mix CP ResiGard PU thoroughly before use to ensure a consistent application. The product is available in both clear and pigmented formulations.
  3. Application:
    • Apply using a brush, roller, or spray equipment. For the best results, apply the coating in thin, even layers.
    • The recommended coverage for clear is 10 m² per liter per coat at 100 microns WFT, and for pigmented is 5 m² per liter per coat at 180 microns WFT.
    • Ensure that the coating is applied at the specified thickness to achieve optimal performance.
  4. Curing:

Allow adequate curing time before exposing the surface to normal use. Typically, full curing occurs within 24-48 hours, depending on environmental conditions

Areas of Application

  • Marine Structures: Protects steel and concrete surfaces from the corrosive effects of saltwater and UV exposure.
  • Pharmaceutical Units: Ensures a durable and resistant surface in pharmaceutical manufacturing areas that require high standards of hygiene and resistance to chemicals.
  • Car Park Decks: Provides a tough and UV-resistant finish for car park decks exposed to vehicular traffic and weathering.
  • Battery Rooms: Protects surfaces from corrosive battery acids and other harsh chemicals commonly found in battery rooms.
  • Textile Industry: Ideal for use in textile manufacturing units where resistance to chemicals and durability are essential.
  • Manufacturing Units: Protects floors and surfaces in industrial environments from wear, tear, and chemical damage.
