Technical Data

  • Volume Yield: 14 liters per 20 kg bag.
  • Coverage: 1 m² per bag at 14 mm thickness.
  • Application Thickness:
    • Vertical: 75–100 mm in a single application.
    • Overhead: 65–85 mm using wet spraying methods.
  • Compressive Strength: ≥ 30 MPa at 28 days.
  • Flexural Strength: ≥ 7 MPa at 28 days.
  • Bond Strength: ≥ 2.5 MPa.

How to Apply

Mixing Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, sound, and free from grease, dust, or any loose material. Pre-wet the surface to achieve a Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition.
  2. Mixing Ratio: Add approximately 4.5 liters of clean, potable water per 20 kg bag.
  3. Mixing Process: Gradually add CP ReCon 35LW to the water while mixing using a low-speed drill and paddle for 3–5 minutes until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved.
  4. Consistency Adjustment: Adjust water as needed for desired consistency, ensuring not to exceed the recommended mixing ratio.

Application Instructions:

  1. For Trowel Application: Apply CP ReCon 35LW directly to the prepared surface using a steel trowel or putty knife. Smooth and level the surface as needed.
  2. For Wet Spraying Application: For vertical and overhead repairs, apply CP ReCon 35LW by wet spraying in multiple passes, ensuring the material is applied evenly and securely.
  3. Thickness: Apply up to 35 mm in a single coat. For thicker repairs, multiple coats can be applied, with each coat partially cured before applying the next.
  4. Finish: Work the material to achieve a smooth finish or desired texture.

Curing Instructions:

  • Cure the applied material with standard wet curing techniques for 5–7 days to enhance its durability.
  • Protect the repair from extreme weather conditions such as direct sunlight or rain during the curing process.

Packaging:

  • Available in 20 kg bags.

Storage and Shelf Life:

  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Shelf life is 12 months in unopened packaging when stored under recommended conditions.
