CP-MoyaProof CWL

CP-MoyaProof CWL is a single-component liquid waterproofing system that works by crystallization. It penetrates into the micropores and capillaries inside concrete, reacting with the cement matrix to form insoluble inorganic complex ion crystals. This process makes the concrete highly resistant to water penetration and ensures long-term waterproofing protection. As long as moisture is present, CP-MoyaProof CWL remains active and will seal both existing and future hairline cracks.

How to Apply

Surface Preparation

  • Concrete surfaces must be clean and free from laitance, dirt, films, paints, coatings, or other contaminants.
  • The surface should have an open capillary system for the CP-MoyaProof CWL treatment to work effectively.
  • If surfaces are smooth, they should be acid-etched, lightly sandblasted, or waterblasted.
  • Structural defects such as cracks, faulty construction joints, and honeycombs should be repaired before applying CP-MoyaProof CWL.
  • CP-MoyaProof CWL is not suitable for use in expansion joints or moving cracks.
  • Horizontal surfaces should have a rough wood float or broom finish.

Application Process

  1. Timing: CP-MoyaProof CWL should be applied 2-4 weeks after pouring the concrete, or later. It is especially effective on older concrete surfaces.
  2. Curing Compound: CP-MoyaProof CWL can also act as a curing compound when applied immediately after forms are stripped.
  3. Application Method:
    • Can be applied by spray, brush, or roller.
    • For horizontal surfaces, it is recommended to flood the surface with CP-MoyaProof CWL.
    • For vertical surfaces, spray application is recommended.
  4. Drying Time: Allow 5-6 hours for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat.
  5. Concrete Surface Condition: Ensure the concrete surface is dry for at least 24 hours before application.

Curing

  • Water is necessary for curing and facilitating the reaction of CP-MoyaProof CWL.
  • Curing can be done by placing wet hessian over the applied area for a minimum of 14 days or by mist spraying with water.

Precautions

  • Avoid contact with eyes and seek medical attention if swallowed.
  • Keep away from children.

Disposal

  • Do not reuse containers. Dispose of according to local regulations.
