Technical Data

  • Composition: White Portland Cement
  • Packaging: 25 kg/bag
  • Pot Life: Approximately 40 minutes
  • Coverage: 2.2 m² at 5mm thickness per bag
  • Curing Requirements: Minimum 48 hours

Water: Use potable water for mixing.

How to Apply

  • Surface Preparation:
    Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material.
  • Mixing:
    Mix Glitterlite with potable water to form a smooth, lump-free consistency.
  • Application:
    Apply a thin coat of Glitterlite to an approximate thickness of 5mm onto the prepared surface using a steel trowel.
    Work from a wet unset edge to complete the area in one continuous operation. Level off with an aluminum straight edge, and smooth with a steel trowel.
    As the Glitterlite begins to stiffen, slightly dampen the surface, then close it with a flat steel trowel.
    Once firm (when finger pressure does not make an indentation), use a felt roller dipped in potable water to carefully work the surface in an all-over direction, revealing the glass or aggregate chips.
  • Final Touch:
    To achieve an extreme sparkling effect, wash the surface with diluted hydrochloric acid after 24 hours to remove any remaining fine cement film from the glass chips.
