How to Apply

1. Surface Preparation:

o Ensure the background is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or
contaminants.
o Pre-wet the surface with water before applying BRC.
2. Mixing:
o Add the required amount of potable water to BRC and mix thoroughly to
achieve a uniform, lump-free consistency.

3. Application Method:
o Use a Tyrolean box or a power pattern spray gun to apply BRC.
o Do not use a trowel for application.
o Spray the mix evenly over the prepared surface area, ensuring complete
coverage.
o Allow the applied coat to stiffen slightly before doubling back to create a
rough texture for mechanical keying.

4. Finishing:
o The applied coat should have a rough texture to enhance adhesion for the
subsequent layer of plaster.

5. Curing:
o Cure the applied BRC coat for at least 48 hours with potable water to ensure
proper setting and bonding.
