A) Securing Insulation Boards Against Background

1. Mixing: Prepare Insubond with potable water to achieve a lump-free, consistent mixture.
2. Application:
   • Apply the adhesive to the prepared background in a single coat up to 6 mm thickness.
   • Leave the surface rough for better adhesion.
   • For greater thickness, apply a second thin coat wet-on-wet, leveling the first coat before proceeding.
3. Panel Installation:
   • Lay insulation panels onto the adhesive before it becomes surface dry.
   • Press panels firmly against the background to ensure proper bonding.
   • Only spread as much adhesive as can be covered with panels within the working time.

B) Bonding Coat for Subsequent Plaster Finishes

1. Application:
   • Apply Insubond in a single 6 mm thick coat onto the insulation board.
   • Spread the mortar evenly using a steel trowel.
2. Reinforcement:
   • Embed Conpacmix “Autex” fiberglass mesh into the wet mortar.
   • Level the surface with a steel trowel.
3. Finishing:
   • Once dried completely, apply a thin decorative render from the Conpacmix range of plasters.

Ensure Insubond is free of moisture before applying finishes.
