Technical Data

C500 (grey) is a dry pre-mix, cement based thin bed mortar combined with Portland cement, fine graded sand and chemical additives for fixing ceramic tiles and stones on walls and floors.

How to Apply

Substrate Requirements

Ensure the surface is:

Clean and Sound: Free from dust, grease, oil, or loose plaster.
Properly Cured: Allow at least 7 days for curing of newly applied plaster or mortar.

Surface Preparation

Clean: Eliminate dust, debris, and curing agents.
Dampen: Lightly wet the surface, avoiding standing water.
Tile Preparation: Clean the backs of tiles to remove dust and coatings.

Mixing Instructions

Use clean water and a slow-speed electric drill mixer (≤ 300 rpm).
Mix 20 kg of C800 Ultra White Mortar with 4.8–5.6 liters of water.
Stir until achieving a smooth, lump-free, creamy consistency.

Installation Guidelines

Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is damp and free of contaminants.
Adhesive Application:
- Spread adhesive evenly using the flat side of a trowel.
- Create grooves with a notched trowel for enhanced bonding.
Recommended Applications:
- Interior and exterior installations.
- Swimming pools and other wet areas.
- Large tiles and stones for walls and floors.
